Below, we look at the betting odds, picks, and predictions for the April 26 contest, which headlines one of the more anticipated British boxing cards of 2025.
Chris Eubank Jr. Vs. Conor Benn: Main Event Betting Odds

Chris Eubank Jr. Vs. Conor Benn
Eubank and Benn had been scheduled to face each other at O2 Arena in London, England in October 2022. However, that matchup was scrapped after Benn’s voluntary urine test showed trace amounts of fertility drug Clomiphene, a banned substance that can boost testosterone levels in men.
At the time Benn said, “I was informed (of the first fail) and I thought, ‘It’s probably a faulty test. I thought, ‘We’ll get to the bottom of it’. We’re still trying to do that. We’re making progress.
“But the way it’s been blown up has affected me so much. My innocence will be proven. It has to be. I passed all my UKAD (UK Anti-Doping) tests, which people aren’t talking about. I’ve passed all my tests in and out of camp. I’ve been a professional for seven years and never failed a test.
“I signed up to VADA (Voluntary Anti-Doping Association) in February, so it doesn’t make any sense. Why would I take something then?
“Trace amounts were found. The tiniest of traces. The only thing I can think of is contamination. I’ve not taken anything. I never have done, never would. It’s not what I stand for, it’s not what my team stands for.
“Why would I take the biggest fight of my life, sign up to VADA and then take this substance? If you Google this substance, it stays in your system for months. Do I look like an idiot?”
Benn’s suspension for the failed drug test was lifted in November 2022 by the U.K. National Anti-Doping Panel (NAPD).
In February 2023, the WBC wrote, “The WBC found that: (1) there was no conclusive evidence that Mr. Benn engaged in intentional or knowing ingestion of Clomiphene; (2) there were no failures in the procedures related to sample collection, sample analysis, or violations of Mr. Benn’s B Sample rights that would justify questioning or invalidating the Adverse Finding; and (3) Mr. Benn’s documented and highly-elevated consumption of eggs during the times relevant to the sample collection, raised a reasonable explanation for the Adverse Finding.”
Eubank is ranked No. 3 by the IBF at middleweight. The WBA has him at No. 8, and he is No. 3 in the WBC rankings. Benn enters Saturday’s fight as the No. 5 ranked welterweight according to the WBA. He is ranked No. 3 by the WBC.

Chris Eubank Jr. Vs. Conor Benn Breakdown
When it comes to offense, Eubank is a counter puncher. He is unafraid to open himself up to attacks from his opponents so that he can throw and land counters. Benn needs to be aware of that. He must shore up his defense while also looking to land his shots with as much power as possible so he is the one scoring. He cannot hang around inside range, allowing Eubank to connect on counters.
Benn can be pressured, but Eubank should be aware that while he could find some success in moving forward and forcing his opponent onto his back foot, Benn can use defensive head movement to give himself time and space to counter. However, if Benn faces too much pressure, he can find himself backing up on a straight line and putting himself on the ropes. If Eubank can catch Benn on the ropes, he can have success if he uncorks combinations because Eubank is not great defensively on the ropes
As for Benn’s offense, he does a good job covering distance and mixing up his approaches, but when he attacks, he can drop his other hand, making him susceptible to counters, something he’ll want to avoid against Eubank, the bigger man.
Eubank has an effective jab and can use it going forward or backing up. Once Eubank establishes his jab and range, he unleashes his combinations while closing distance. However, there are some weaknesses in his offense, such as that he doesn’t move his head as much as he could and can drop his lead hand at times, which could open him up for counters from Benn.
While Eubanks is solid off the jab, his favorite punch is the uppercut, which he can throw to the body or head. Eubank’s uppercuts are powerful and can end fights, but if he sets his feet to throw a monster uppercut, he can leave his head exposed, which could give Benn a shot at countering if he times Eubank well. Another thing Eubank needs to avoid is getting reckless with his uppercuts, stepping in from distance without setting up his power punches.
Benn’s defense in the open is not the best, either. He tends to leave his lead hand low, which, against speedy opponents, results in jabs landing with relative ease. Another issue with Benn’s defense is that he’s quick to bring his lead hand back down, which opens him to combos. A third problem with Benn’s defense is that even if it stops the jab, it leaves him open to both head and body shots, something Eubank could exploit with feints and fakes.
Chris Eubank Jr. Vs. Conor Benn Prediction And Pick
Two things that could change the trajectory of this fight are emotion and size. If either fighter lets his emotions get the best of him inside the ring, he will do so to his detriment. Focus will be an enormous key to this fight. The other is size. Eubank is the bigger man and as such he will carry more power. If the rehydration clause — neither fighter can check in at more than 170 pounds on fight night — the fight is his to win.
The betting pick is for Eubank to win via knockout in the second half of the fight.
